Can't level up past level 41 despite having both DLC's!

I recently reinstalled Origins and purchased both Hidden ones and Curse of the Pharaohs. I was originally on level 39 and worked my way up to 41 but now it is stuck halfway through level 41 and no matter what i do it wont go further. i have played a few hours of both DLC and nothing is happening. I have weapons that i can't use because they are level 43. Is there something i'm missing or doing wrong?

Hmm, odd one. So no matter who you kill or what mission you complete you no longer gain XP? Does it show up on screen after you kill an enemy or complete a mission?

When yo go to abilities does it show you the XP bar at bottom? It tells you how much XP you need to reach next level. That is not increasing? Is it maxed out? Do you have points you can spend to upgrade your abilities?

The main game has a level cap of 40. 45 in the hidden ones. Than maxed at 55 in the curse of the pharaohs.

Are you sure both DLC are installed? Go to properties in game library for origins. Than click on DLC. See if both are checked off and installed.

Also make sure the DLC is activated via Ubisoft Connect and in the game as well. Maybe it just accidentally got disabled?

Hi yes both DLC are installed and ticked in both steam and ubisoft. S9 they are verified. I do gain XP and i do receive points. It says my level is 41 and the xp bar says i have 9473 out of 25400 to the next level. So its stuck halfway. I have done some missions in both DLC to see if my level goes up but it does nothing. Its just really odd and frustrating.

Also like i said i do have enough ability points to upgrade but theres 12 abilities that are locked including the seers one. Says Acquire a linked ability to unlock.

Just to confirm and on same page. When in game, and going to the more content feature in the main menu, do you see both DLC as installed?

When gaining XP it will not go any higher than 9473?

When trying to unlock abilities, they need to be linked. So the ones that can be unlocked are highlighted in white and the others are shaded out. Do you see any in white?

Did you purchase DLC after you already started playing main game? Did you purchase the DLC thru Steam or thru Ubisoft? Do you also own another copy for Ubisoft Connect?

I only found 1 article on this issue, but the reply really didnt say much. Did you try to do a trial of the gods battle?

Maybe uninstall the whole game and reinstall? Before launching game make sure the DLC is checked and installed in steam library properties. Than try again.

Not sure what else it could be. Try contacting Ubisoft support. They maybe able to shed more light on this strange issue.

Hey yea both are installed in th content feature. And no the xp does not get any higher. I got the game when it came out then after completing the main story i uninstalled and got Odyssey. I saw the DLC for origins so after reinstalling it i downloaded both DLC from steam. Then did a few side missions on the main game before going into the DLC. I thought it would boost my level but nothing is there. I did forget to mention that this saved game is through the Animus hack. So im thinking maybe that has something to do with it. But not sure. I will give reinstalling the game a go and see if that works. If not then I'll just move on lol.

I will let you know once i tried it.

Ahh yes. That is most likely the cause. They discontinued the animus control features. So that would make sense you are stuck at leveling up since it was removed from game.

Load a save game that wasnt using the hack.

Yes i think it is. I reinstalled the game and no difference. I will probably just uninstall it again and leave it at that. I don't really fancy going through the whole game again lol. I'm going to wait until Valhalla is on discount and get that.

Yea, that does suck. This game does require some hours to play it so going thru it again could be a chore.

Valhalla is actually on sale right now via Ubisoft Store. I was thinking of getting it as well, but willing to wait a bit longer. Usually after 1 year they drop the price even lower. So im going to wait a couple more months and see what the next sale will have.

Yea i saw the deal and most likely going to wait a few months too. I'm sure around Christmas it will be nice and low. I massively enjoyed Odyssey. Might jump back on that finish up the side quests and so.

Im pretty sure, you can level up by bying something in the Assassin's Bureau in Memphis
