Seasons Pass half price at Ubisoft but still full price on Steam
So at the in-game store the Season's Pass price is only $24.99 but when you click to buy it a Steam window opens and it's $49.99. What's up with that? On the Ubisoft website, it's also $29.99. But I can't buy it from them because I bought the game from Steam. Not cool.

There are times when Steam and Uplay will have sales at different time, so unfortunately the price will not always be the same on both platforms.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted about the mismatched prices on the Ubisoft forums you raised your price again to match Steam. Ubisoft sets the price for its games on both platforms so just saying there are times when it happens doesn't make much sense. If you're having a sale why cut out your own Steam customers? It's very frustrating when you see something you really want for half price in the game but then when you click to buy it's actually full price. "the price will not always be the same on both platforms" just isn't good enough. You can fix that and you really should.

I can certainly understand the frustration around this, I'll pass your feedback on to the team.

Thank you, because it appears that Ubisoft doesn't care about its Steam customers.

Today in-game the price of the Seasons Pass is showing as $19.99. When I click to buy it the Steam window opens and the price is $49.99. (both Canadian) This is pretty bad. I'm wishing now I didn't buy the game through Steam at all. You guys need to update your sales on Steam.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other inquiries.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Since Ubisoft sets the price in both places, can I expect to see the price of the Origin's Seasons Pass on Steam match the price in the game now?

I guess I can only assume that Ubisoft Support has nothing to do with Ubisoft considering it is Ubisoft that sets prices on Steam. It's also pretty clear that Ubisoft Support doesn't talk to Ubisoft about issues that arise on the forums or you would have known that today Ubisoft changed their price on Steam for their Black Friday Sale. I'm glad I waited, I finally got the Seasons' Pass for a good price.
