Keyboard not working

Hi all, I recently just got AC Origins and I began playing it as soon as it reached a certain point in the download. However when I completed the download the next day and loaded the game none of my keys worked. At the "press any key" screen I hit space and nothing worked, only my mouse worked. I have done research and can't find anything. Please help!.

Is it only for the game? Sometimes my keyboard stoos working and is fine in a bit.

I'm playing AC Origins since December and today PAtch 1.21 was installed. Since then my keyboard also isn't working anymore in AC Origins. Everywhere else the keyboard works without issues. Restarted the computer, reinstalled the game, nothing works for me. Seems that Patch 1.21 is causing this for me. So I don't have a solution for this problem at the moment and can't play -.-

What I did is I set the game to run as an admin and it works. It may be annoying but just set it to run as admin and you're good to go.

I have the same problem. Worked fine yesterday, but when i logged in today, the keyboard is not responding in ACO.

Works everywhere else (I'm typing on it now). Tried restarting, running as administrator and uninstalling my gamepad to no avail.

wooow guys i have the same problem. Worked just fine yesterday and today it just doesn't detect my keyboard. Already reinstalled it and still the same problem. My keyboard works just fine in every other game. Need help.

Seeing that a few of you are experiencing this problem, I will make sure the team is aware of this issue. Thank you all for sharing. I will follow up as soon as I have any type of information.

In the meantime, I recommend anyone experiencing issues with their keyboard not working contact Ubisoft Support. They will be better equipped to assist you as they have the tools to look into issues like this.

i got mine fixed when i google searched the problem... minimised the game did some searches, saw the admin run fix here, went back to the game n it worked... i didnt close the game, just minimised it n switched back to it

Thanks for following up with me to let me know you were able to get around this issue. Glad to hear it wasn't too much of a problem. I will continue to keep an eye out for anyone else experiencing this issue.
