This was the start of an era to make fans like AC series again and they nailed it with this game. if u ask me wait till when they put up a franchise sale...if not u gotta wait till a major steam sale is on for good discounts....spring sale is the upcoming one.

Just tossing a tad clarification into that statement: All Assassin's Creed (AC's) games are Role Playing Games (RPG's) with more or less stealth / actions factors involved depending on how you're allowed to play some parts of it that don't forcefully require you to do the stealthy approach.

And Assassin's Creed: Origins (AC:O) is amongst my top 5 favourites AC's of all times thus far, being the rest: AC II; Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (AC:B); Assassin's Creed: Revelations (AC:R) and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (AC IV: BF).

i loved the game, had sp and stuff, nice additions to the game, but the greed of ubisoft is discusting. i buy keys from unauthorized resellers only, and never had any probs, but 60 bucks for this old game is kinda ea ish... just my unholy opinion. so sad that ubi will be gone soon. they had amazing games..

origins is peak, it's a shame it's so expensive. personally i think you should wait on a sale but if you're not super worried about finances, it's pretty worth it

love the game, bought it twice, full price on ps4 and sale on steam, just wait for the sale like everyone is saying, be worth the wait, or get a key

out of the newer ac games this is honestly the best, some say odyssey is but i just keep dropping it for this one.

Considering the amazing setting they barely made anything out of it.

Bayek is basically a dude thinking mass murder will avenge "muh dead son"
This while being a medjay who is a little bit like a police officer of that time.

Horrible story and protagonist.

Lets not even start with Cleopatra and her horrible cameo.

No, no it is not lol. But this all boils down to preference. I found Odyssey hard to get into bc of its gear system, the fact they tried to FORCE you to use on foot combat, plus everything kinda looked the same to me. In terms of location, I find ancient Egypt much more interesting and fascinating than ancient Greece. Origins is hands down the best of the recent AC games not only for story, but location, mechanics. and humor.
