Unreachable items in Seshem.eff

First of all, I already tried to look that up and didn't find an answe.
Shortly before entering the chamber with the ancient mechanism in Seshem.eff, if you scan the area, there are 2 items. They are far away from the moveable items and texts in earlier chambers and far above the pool we have to jump into a few seconds later.
This guy at 4:39 does such a scan, but he doesn't take the time to look for them. He would have to stop, then look left and down to see them.

Looks to me like you missed the start of the Stone Circles quest which you should have done before you left Siwa the first time. What you need to do is go back to Siwa and follow the marker to the Stone Circle and do the first star puzzle then the 12 part quest will start
