THE GAME DOESN'T START

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone else can't open the Assassin's Creed Origin game. It keeps loading and nothing happens. I can't even open the login tab on Uplay. I've been trying to open the game for a few days now and nothing. ???

I started playing it last week. To be able to add it to ubisoft connect and start playing it, i had to do start it on my steam deck. After that i could play it for a few days on pc. then nothing again for a few days and after yesterdays connect update i can play it again on pc.

I can't understand what's wrong right now with this game

Hello guyss! If you are facing the same problem then try starting it from the Ubisoft Connect app. It worked for me.

maybe try to uninstall the game and install it back again? also in the ubisoft launcher log in then in definitions turn on the box where it asks you to link to steam so its easier in the future (mind you once you link you can never unlink) then log out of the launcher and close it. lanch the game thro steam and then the ubisoft laucher will open log in and it should work!

I've spent 2 days and countless installs and uninstalls.

check this stupid chyt out. This method below finally has it working and starting fine. I CANNOT explain why or what but here's the way I did mine:

1. (if still installed) Uninstalled ACO via Windows 11>start>settings>apps>installed apps>(right-click)ACO>select "uninstall"
2. Opened Ubisoft Connect and logged into my account.
3. clicked into my Ubisoft Library
4. Found ACO and selected to install it while "inside" Ubisoft. It linked to Steam of course and began to install it through Steam as well, BUT I never left the initial Ubisoft "environment".
5. Made sure to have a Desktop Shortcut created with the install.
6. When it finished installing I immediately double-clicked the Shortcut on my Desktop to play it. Boom!

... and it freaking worked for me! I hope it does so for you all as well who are struggling with this as I have. Good Luck!

Try opt out of steam beta then try running it. See if that works.

same problem. This game is stuck at loading screen. I have tried many(applied many Youtube fixes) times but nothing happened. Kindly help. I think only UBISOFT can fix this problem by giving updates. So kindly raise this matter to the UBISOFT. Thank you.

yes, I am having issues as well, Assassin's Creed Origin and Valhalla will not play, I have messaged Ubisoft about it and sent them screen shots asking why it will not link with my Ubisoft account but haven't received any response as of yet.

Ich habe eine Lösung zusammen mit Chat GBT gefunden. Ich habe mich bei Ubisoft Connect ausgeloggt resp. es neu installiert. Dann sowohl Steam als auch Ubisoft Connect als Abmin geöffnet, mich aber nicht eingeloggt. Dann habe ich das Spiel gestartet und musste mich dann bei Ubisoft connect einloggen, dann hat es geklappt.

Vorher musste ich noch Easycheat für das Spiel installieren und die Grafiktreiber aktualisieren

Same here. The game runs for a second and closes. Ubisoft connect shows nothing. It doesn't even show up in their library.
