Windows 11 24h2 crashing/freezing NTDLL.DLL fix?

As the title says before the update it worked perfectly fine. But now it crashing every few minutes and throws the error in event viewer as ntdll.dll crash.
No hardware changes no drivers changes. Just updated my windows to 24h2.
Anyone else facing the same issue.
PS. Windows + any drivers are upto date.

Update 14th Jan: Ubisoft released a hotfix that fixes the crashes with windows 24h2. The game is working fine now. The patch size is around 230 mb. See update history for the game for more details

For now the solution is to uninstall 24H2 and go back to 23H2.

So if we do this its solve the problem?

yes. i proved it at my laptop. just rollback to 23H2.

Same issue, reverting to 23H2 solves the issue, have reportet it to UBI and recommend everyone else to do so, as it may get some priority

Thanks for your messages and sorry to hear it Assassin's Creed Origins is crashing on your PCs.
Please correct me is I'm wrong but 24h2 is still a Windows 11 Insider Preview, not officially released to the general public.

As a result, this version may not be stable and the troubleshooting steps may not help.

Disable ALL 3rd party, unnecessary applications running in the background, especially 3rd party overlays:
Clean boot - https://ubi.li/XQEUx

Disconnect any additional USB devices, other than mouse and keyboard for testing purposes (any USB hubs, headsets etc).

Make sure you update not only your graphics card drivers but also check for ALL available updates to your motherboard.

Clear Ubisoft Connect cache - https://ubi.li/uNKwr

Make sure Ubisoft Connect and the game are installed on the system C drive.

If you are overclocking or undervolting your GPU or CPU, reset it back to default settings.

its now a public release update and the issues are still present with the game. hoping for a fix soon because the game is currently unplayable

For you that cant rollback to 23H2, I think for temporary just stop playing origins and playing other game until ubisoft solve the problem. We hope they solve it ASAP.

can you explain & teach me what is dxvk? for temporary, I rollback to 23H2.

you download the latest version of dxkv on https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk, you put the d3d11 and dxgi dll in your origins folder and you run the game, but it still crash for me

It looks like a bug with Denuvo old version with new Win 11 update 24H2.

Just remove Denuvo, Ubisoft, you dont need this in game anymore...

Crushing on my computer as well. Frozen and no reaction to key board and mouse while sound keep playing. Gpu utilization fall to zero when frozen

You can't remove Denuvo from the game by yourself. It must be done by Ubisoft... or "pirates"

Afaik, Denuvo was deleted from the game years ago.

Nice, i just checked Ubisoft's discord, users are filling the reports about Origins crashing under 24h2.
Now they'll have to fix. Or work with Microsoft on the problem, no more delegating the problem to the users.

Valhalla also have problems with textures on 24H2
