Windows 11 24h2 crashing/freezing NTDLL.DLL fix?

As the title says before the update it worked perfectly fine. But now it crashing every few minutes and throws the error in event viewer as ntdll.dll crash.
No hardware changes no drivers changes. Just updated my windows to 24h2.
Anyone else facing the same issue.
PS. Windows + any drivers are upto date.

Update 14th Jan: Ubisoft released a hotfix that fixes the crashes with windows 24h2. The game is working fine now. The patch size is around 230 mb. See update history for the game for more details

Unfortunately, pirates won again, in pirated game version you don't need to pay to play the game whatever you want, there's no anti-cheat software. I feel like a sucker, because before last year, i was playing for hundred hours AC Origins on pirated version, then i decided to buy a real copy.

I can only cry on forums, that it will not fix anything.

Will someone try CPY Cr4ck on AC Origins? it's just an exe file without anti-cheat. If It will work, we need to p1rate the game we bought and wait for the patch 😂

Nope, just a ubi launcher update. every ubisoft game got it :((

So guys, let's start from the beginning.

I noticed that the game NEVER freezes in the start menu (with the dead pharaoh in the background). But as soon as I start playing or turn on the benchmark, the game freezes after a few minutes.

This suggests that the game does not receive enough resources from the system and as a result the game freezes. But while we are in the menu and the game requires few resources, the game works.

The NTDLL.dll file in the system is responsible for distributing computer resources in response to driver requests. This is what I was able to find out.

It's not so obvious - perhaps the video drivers are to blame for the game freezing. Are there people here with AMD video cards whose game freezes on 24H2?

Then its the bug in Windows 24H2 itself connected to RAM or CPU.

When the game freezes, the game's RAM usage drops to almost zero at moment before freeze... it looks like Windows 11 24H2 is "killing" the game with unknown reason. It doesn't look like a bug in the game itself, it simply wouldn't "give up" its RAM back in Windows hands in that case.

No need to play detective with what the game is doing before it freezes. It's not your job, and workarounds you're trying to do are already done and done.

Then write here a temporary solution to the problem. People can't wait a whole year for the release of 25H2.

The game can't request enough RAM from the system. So I tried to set it manually... but unlike hundreds of other games, Origins simply did not start with the manual command. At all.

It's weird and it's sad.

All we need is Ubi to come out and say "we're aware of the issue in AC Origins and will deploy a patch when fixed" and EVERYONE would calm down. Come on Ubisoft, communication!!! We don't want to have to wonder if you're going to fix this or not.

If you have the latest version of Windows 11 - the 24H2 installed on it, then our teams are already aware of this issue resulting in more frequent crashes than the previous version - Windows 11 23H2 or Windows 10. They are working on finding the reason behind it and fixing it.

i couldnt play the game because of my weak notebook, but i did not refunded. Because i really wanted to play it.

Today, i have a decent pc, but i cant play because of win11 update.. Come on..
Fix it.
