Guys If you Steam AC Games Are Broken And/Or Won't Luanch
check and make sure you have the latest version of Ubisoft Connect app updated AND running i.e. you've double clicked the *.exe to open your Ubisoft AC library on Ubisoft end.

AND also that your Steam link is working. Check your account tab on UbiConnect. Also in your library, you should see a copy of the AC games you're trying to launch.

If the Steam end isn't working, try directly launching the game from the Ubisoft library.

Final heads up: I bought the ENTIRE AC franchise from AC1 - AC O:dyssey (not Valhalla which I beat a while back on XBox). I did this about 3 years ago. But due to IRL issues, didn't get around to actually installing any of my AC games or associated DLC until earlier this summer.

As a result of that time lapse, it seems a lot of my AC game certificates (in the registry) had expired. I think the Odyssey one expired back in 2022.

So as a result, I COULD NOT REGISTER THE NEWER AC TITLES LIKE AC ODYSSEY ULTIMATE (which had AC 3 Remastered & AC Liberation Remastered as special promo). Or AC ORIGINS because the token had expired on these.

So during the Steam end install, the games kept asking me for valid CD keys. Didn't realize Ubisoft had stopped providing Steam with CD Game keys a while back. The only titles Steam provided me with CD keys for were the legacy ones aka AC 1, AC2/AC2 Brotherhood, AC4 Black Flag. Which was COMPLETE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because Ubi CS kept saying they couldn't provide me with the keys for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games I'd paid $$$$ for.

IT LITERALLY TOOK ME 3 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONTHS HARASSING UBISOFT POS CS UNTIL MY CASE WAS FINALLY ESCALATED TO THE VERY TOP. At which point, they were so fed up with my constant reopening of the ticket, that CS ended up giving me the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CD game keys which AC Odyssey and Origins both require to register on Steam end.

For those of you who're experiencing tech issues, DON'T GIVE UP. KEEP PESTERING AND REOPENING ANY TICKETS YOU HAVE ON THE UBISOFT END. THEIR CS AND TECH SUPPORT IS 10000% DOGSH8TE.

Know that if you keep harrassing the lower tier CS support, that your case WILL be eventually escalated to someone who is technically competent in resolving your issue. As it literally took me the ENTIRE summer to get my games working again.

I been through crap with them in the past.

I bought Siege on PS5 a couple years ago and spent literally a month back and forth with them about a problem.

I bought an upgraded edition that gave me some cosmetics. Literally spent something like 20 or 30 more for it.
NONE of the cosmetics unlocked for me in the game.

I will keep it short but in the end the lady I was talking to kept asking me for a picture that I had installed all extra content.
So I take a picture of that page on ps5 showing I had NO extra content installed.
She kept saying to me, I need a picture of the content installed to escalate this.
I kept asking her, how am I supposed to give you a picture of the content installed when the literal reason I am even talking to you is that the content I paid for ISNT EVEN THERE.
I can't show you it installed because I didn't get it and that is why I am even contacting you.
I told her, please don't ask me for the picture of the content I don't have that I paid for again and just escalate me to someone that can help.
Her next reply.
I can not escalate this matter until I receive a picture with the content installed.

Haven't talked to them since. lol
