Despite being older than AC: Oddyssey, imho, AC:O still outshines it in every department, particularly as far a game's quality goes too.
Your opinion isn't quite honest really, because it's not logical.
Biased maybe, not honest.
Apparently reading thoroughly isn't your thing. I've already stated most of my opinions and even supported those with other fellow AC's saga enthusiasts upon this other recent thread.
You, on the other hand just simply try to contradict my opinion, but thoroughly lacking to supporting yours on the other hand. Which clearly doesn't help to support your opinion in the lisghtest thus far at least.
Besides, you fail to explain how origins outshines odyssey "at every department" (which is false) using simple words. Instead you're posting links I'm never gonna click rly.
What "departments" are those really? I've thought of some at which odyssey clearly outshines origins, but I'm still unsure about what you mean by departments.
Especially this part, according to what you initially said, origins outshines odyssey as far as a game's quality goes too? Kind of vague pro-origins anti-odyssey review, don't you think? Oh my, you most likely need a reality check tbh
with Odyssey being slightly (?) advanced.
Both have kind of same combat, with Odyssey's being smoothier
both have huge unique maps
both have unique vehicles, personally I prefer a trireme to a chariot, I love the camels in origins though.
Both have many elements to compare and debate about, but in the end of the day,
Odyssey will just get on top cause it's the newer game I suppose.
Claiming and proving that Origins is the better game quality experience is tough, if not a fool's errand entirely.
odyssey nice, but a bit grindy. ymmv
Thanks for those baseless "ad hominem" fallacy[en.wikipedia.org] attacks to character through "my reality check" (thus implying that I'm a lunatic), they sure vouch on your favour. [/sarcam]
Anyway, I guess that if you're not reading my Points of View (PoV's) and simply start attacking my character then there's no actual point in trying to civicly debate now this subject further is there?
Guess that we'll have to agree that I fully disagree with you and move onwards.
So irrelevant to what we've been discussing here. Boring.
All is said already but I can add;
Odyssey has more humor
Origins is a little darker
Odyssey has naval combat. I normally hate that but they were fun in this game.
Origins only has one shipbattle near the end
Apart being dealth way worst in NPC's handling and world populating with those amongst several other lingering issues that should've been properly patched afterwards Assassin's Creed: Origins (AC:O), ofc.
And also it relates strictly ZERO to previous AC's games in the AC's saga / franchise. And to name only a few, you can kill civillians at your own hearts comtempt, use demi-god powers at will and only have their series iconic Hidden Blade if you're actually acquired that aweful story telling about the Legacy of the 1st Blade DLC, thus also desperatelly trying to link that Darius into being the same as the statue portrayed inside our AC II's shrine inside Monteregegionni, which just not to mention the whole content of the said DLC that farfetches on how Darius exists in an at least 300 years period farther away from AC:O and still manages to dress, follow and act like the Hidden Ones without having any previous contact with that faction.
