Game not launching

Hiya for some reason the game wont launch when I press play..
Has anyone in this community had a similar problem and overcome it?
I would be thankful for tips.

Mine was trying to force up-date yesterday, then just kept hanging. I uninstalled and re-installed.

I just keep trying and sometimes it takes up to 3 tries before it'll launch.

I bought the game October 9th, 2023 it launched using Ubisoft app. Today it won't launch with a message "There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product". I've contacted Ubisoft, not sure what's going to happen. It sounds like something got out of sync.

I had this issue. To resolve:
1) Visit https://ubisoftconnect.com/ and download Ubisoft Connect again, then Install to update existing version.
2) Restart your PC <== Must do.
3) Load Ubisoft Connect, Login if necessary, then select the BETA version.
4) Now run Assassin's Creed Origins.

You know what I do not even know what steps I did but now it runs okey .. I have a big feeling though it wasnt steam it was the ubisoft connect app that was the problem.
