No, the Trials of the Gods should be available for you to play as well. They are not restricted to Uplay only players. As long as you have completed the prologue, you can face the Gods.
Make sure that you are connected to the Internet for them to appear.
You can find out more information about the Trials Here[support.ubi.com].
I will check that and the information at the Website.
Peace
Happy to hear it, I hope that you enjoy the Trials! :)
I originally thought that I had 'done the Prologue' and should have been able to try The Trials - that is, escaping from the Temple you start in, get into your first couple of battles/combat, then when you travel back to the village, I thought that was it - that is in fact not the 'end' of the Prologue.
The Prologue is the entire first area/village - that is, Siwa (where Bayek is from).
It is helpful though, a lot of Tutorial occurs there, with Combat, Stealth, lots of explanation of the different functions and abilities and how to Travel. Great stuff, Ubi!
(Beginning the game in medias res might be jarring for some, it was slightly for me (with no knowledge of the characters, etc) - I thought I was missing a lot at first, since I hadn't played the previous game yet and everyone seemed to know each other, etc)
I also thought that the Prologue was only the first starting Temple, heh; I was wrong.
Once I finished the entire first area/village, I travelled to the next Region and was then able to "Hack The Animus" and participate in a long, crazy fight, a Trial... Neat!
[Personally, I don't think I'd do a Trial too often, until I reach a much higher level and have weapons that do more Damage; but it was fun to try for kicks - it was great to see that the Reward obtained was 'account wide' and usable on my "non-hacked" Character. Thanks!]
Enjoying Assassin's Creed Origins a LOT so far though, so much to do, so much fun... great job, Ubisofties!
Thank you for your helpful information here, too.
