can i still change my character using the ACP.ini file?
I've gone through a lot of forums but i couldn't find one that explained or even mentioned this question, I miss playing as other character's such as Aya in the game. is there a way to do it with the ACP.ini file?

All original animus control panel settings can be edited via the ACP.ini file, because the original panel was simply a user-friendly UI to edit said file.

I do not have AC Origins installed right now so I cannot test this, but a quick browse through the ini file suggests the line:
PlayableCharacterIndex
is probably what you want to edit.

playable character's using ACP.ini
yesterday i posted a question how to change your character, for those that don't know like me, characterplayableindex is the line you're looking for. change it to 9 to play as layla or 2 to play as Aya. if you wanna go back to bayek write 20 and it should let you play as him. the values go from 1 to 20.

Huh that's interesting. I don't care at all about the whole "female representation" tripe, but I do kinda wish we could have properly played as Aya more. I think it would have been a great idea to have a whole expansion dedicated to her. She's just so... feisty...

sometimes it's nice to play as different characters. there's also a roman centurion somewhere in the list but i didnt try them all. i posted the ones people might like playing as. i think bayek's friend from the begining of the game is also there too

It's in the root directory of 'Documents'

how do you use the acp.ini file or what to do when i have edited random things? i tried to unfog map and saved it but that didnt work
