Crashes after 1.5.0 Update
Been playing a few days now, a crash here or there but c'est las vie. Downloaded the new patch, and now Origins crashes every 5 minutes it seems. Anyone having a similar experience or have any tips?

feelsbadman, still having crash issues in 1.5.1. Not sure if it's the same thing; I can load up the game(of the 15-20 times I've done so on this computer, only once has crashed before actually loading up a save), and I can play for like 2 minutes. CPU usage holds at around a high 60% to sometimes 90%, which is worrying but doesn't seem to be the problem, and GPU usage holds anywhere from 20% to 100%, which also doesn't seem to be the problem.
Specs; Laptop, with
Intel i7-7700HQ @ 2.8 GHz
GTX 1050-ti
Low settings, no Vsync

The game was working perfectly fine yesterday and the week before, but yesterday I downloaded the new Nvidia drivers(hadn't updated since a little before I downloaded origins on this laptop) and today it just doesn't seem to want to work.

And to all the people giving ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the "long" time it took for a patch for the 1.5.0 bug - patches aren't always some small/simple fix that can be put out quickly. Some companies and studios can manage to do that with their resources and manpower, with some games it's easier to do that than others as well...Ubi, although a large studio overall, has a lot of projects on their board that they need to work on and provide support for, and I know that different branches within Ubi are responsible for different games, but even so I think we all can cut them a bit of slack. Saying you're going to refund the game won't do anything, and it reveals you as the petulant children you are. The Division, R6S, AC:Origins, AC:Odyssey, are the 4 major projects I can name off of the top of my head that they're working on right now. All 4 are triple-A games, all 4 are still, to my knowledge, getting new content updates, The Division and R6S in particular, all 4 are pretty massive games, in terms of data and content, all 4 have large dedicated fan-bases, you get the picture.

Kudos to all the guys who came on and were supportive/helpful/contributed to the thread; shame on all of you children who came here to say '♥♥♥♥ you ubi give me my money back' only around 2 weeks or so after 1.5.0 dropped. If you're going to be like that, go play Battlefield, LoL or Cod or something; they want their largely toxic fan bases back.

Hey Ya'll I got a fix that I found on Tom's Hardware. For Nvidia User's Download Geforce Game Ready Driver 388.71 (you will need to search google for whichever version you want. The two versions are Desktop or Notebook); I have played for a 12 hour straight session and then the next day for about 6 hours straight. Zero Crashes!!
I play on High Settings for everything (turned off that Dynamic Resolution), V-Sync/ No FPS Cap. I occassionally get a frame rate drop, but it goes away as soon as it shows up.

I have an Alienware Laptop with GTX 1070, Intel i7-7820HK @ 2.9 GHz and 32 GB of Ram. Hopes this helps yall.
