WOW. I didn't know about this. Thanks for the headsup. Now I can mess around in ACP while still being an immersive experience. Cheers.
Playing the game 2 times will be done only by kids that have infinite time for their lives or very rich people or people that have really short vision of their life or play just one game their entire year or in 5 years.
This means this AMAZING feature of the ACP will be lost in the dust instead to be enjoyed from MANY. It's a very educative system that makes people able to mod and get introduced to game design and game balancing and makes people EDUCATED AND MATURE.
It's so sad I have to mod a ACP watermark that we get if we play the game with this feature. At least put it in the bottom right or put like a "bent page" watermark on top right \ or left or bottom like we were manipulating a book ... you know when we make a bookmark by bending the page.
Why so much strictness in these developers and publishers... You enable personalization and then ... kill it simply.
This ACP thing was\is an amazing thing! Especially for those who like to play in a cinematic and Role playing way and keep the game REALISTIC.
\ no way I am going to use a DISCLAIMER FULL program on my computer it can even damage the GPU and anyway there is nobody that can say the contrary, a full disclaimer of damage is just something for fools...
Please could you very kindly TELL WHAT ARE the actual "use certain in-game features as mentioned above" that we are going to miss if we play in ACP?
So I like things to be contextual.
Being short.
Desert design is a work of art, even if it seems a gimmick to reduce cost for production, it is instead like a talking place, it speaks, I wish it moved maybe every day (dunes moved) but ok.. they did not made it so deep. However it's amazing thing also experiencing a desert in a game was totally new to me.
Design of interior is amazing,
Writing is good, above average and mature, no kid stuff or pervert romance and (trash game) like Ac Odyssey... I won't talk about it as I already punctually criticized it in the proper venue(s) and forum.
Combat is realistic, no need to set it to hard, however playing with no HUD just makes it really fun, I also of course never empowered my health level or anyway never supprted more than 2-3 hits by enemies and in general my enemies died after 1 to max 4 exceptionally 5 hits (when armored)... game in No HUD is a treat!
Just negative criticize the "real night" I tried to create with proper brightness and other contrast or GPU adjustements... the game doesn't make using a torch useful.. I hate production of games that are like this always with Twilight (pro handholding dependent "gamers") effect during the night... ok that moon is bright ok everything but it could be introduced also later: "real night" effect.
Anyway ... I won't mention else, also expansions, and under water (wonderful if one doesn't OP the avatar skills as I always do for the previously explained reasons, immersion, realism, syncrhonicity with the story and world...) water feels even better, and one of the coolest thing is riding, being chased by enemies and with no hud managing to hit and unsaddle bandits pursuing you in the desert at dusk or at down or whenever...
No Hud forever, I played without ACP, I think or with it, whatever the achievements, I dnt care, the important was experiencing in the most immersive and realistic way the story...
I hate the supernatural twist that today is given to all games as a cascade coming from Fortnite... Fantasy invasion has destroyed all Ubisoft games and simplified their production reducing development problems and costs... everything is possible makes too easy to make a game and produce a game for everyone which is actually not a game. Game need to have specific targets.
Now, it's time to go, thanks for this game and also the ACP (sure, I understand why you did not put achievements, otherwise there would be no merit in acquiring them, there must be a standard for all), best regards.
One more important thing: ACOrigins is one of the few games encountered so far, very few that I would not dislike replaying despite my time available is not much I would dedicate and replay again it. Of course again in NO HUD
Thanks.
