ubisoft connect to steam DLC purcahse
i see the ubisoft store has the origins dlc on special but not on steam.

If i buy through ubisoft store will it carry over to steam?

Ugh that is trash. I'm glad I asked because I very nearly bought it. I know it's only a few dollars but that's irritating as hell. Thanks! :steambored:

Yea no problem. Everything is played thru ubisoft connect anyway. Its stupid that this doesnt work even though its same ecosystem. Ubisoft needs to make UC play nice with steam.

I wish I had seen this sooner. I just purchased both expansions through ubisoft and obviously am having problems getting the content in game. It is shown as "owned" in the "add-ons" tab while in game, but the install button does not work :(

An idea; since ubisoft connect shows that I own AC Origins, if I were to uninstall the game, then re-install it through the ubisoft app, do you think that would work?

If you've purchased AC Origins on Ubi Connect as well then yes this should work but if it's just showing as in your library because you purchased on Steam it's unlikely this will work.

As you don't own the base game on Ubisoft Connect we can offer you a refund for the content if you bought it directly from us.

I went ahead and bought the full game through ubisoft. With the sale, deluxe edition was only $15. The two expansions were going to be $30 total through steam, so ubisoft wins lol
