Black Friday Sale
Is it likely for this game to be on sale for Black Friday?

It already is on Uplay.

I don't really wanna get it on Uplay. I prefer to have all my games in one library.

If it does its not going to much of a sale on Steam, its only 17% cheaper on Uplay.

Yeah SleeveDagger is right I wouldn't be surprised if the game only gets a 10% discount as it just came out. So 10% discount on steam is the most discount you'd get i'd say.

I checked and can use the 20% off code on uplay as well as the 17% so I might get it on there. I gather that steam basically opens uplay to run the game anyway?

Yes it does now, with all Ubisoft games.

Oh ok. So its probably nearly more annoying to buy it on steam than uplay.

The only downside to buying it on Uplay is you can't get a refund other than that I don't have a problem with Uplay.

Were you able to use the 20% Off uPlay discount code?

I purchased one but was unable to apply it to Origins at all. And even their FAQ notes that the code does not stack with any other sales offers.

Yeah, I was looking at this option too, and the max you can get is the HIGHEST amount of discount. So if it's already 17% OFF, and you can have a 20% OFF with the code you get for trading Uplay points, ONLY the 20% OFF discount code applies.

So in essence all you get is 3% OFF on top of that 17%.

Which... Isn't that impressive. It's a new game but it's still kinda expensive, and I worry if it will run fine on my PC. I prefer to have the option to refund it if it runs poorly, and people here are saying Uplay doesn't do refunds. (Is that actually true?)

So... I hope it will get at least 15-20% OFF on Steam during the upcoming sale (Wednesday).

PS, OR, it might not stack at all, like, not applicable, as you say. :( If that's the case it sucks...

Ups, I found it already and I have 100. But it only applies the biggest sale, they don't stack. No point to use it there for 3%

Nah on mine in AUS it lets me do both the 17% off for Black Friday plus the other 20% off code. Have a look in the screen shot.
