End game zones empty?
I went to three zones you dont go to in the main story, level 36-40 one is 34-40, one zone had a Tomb and Puzzle area and the rest of the zone was empty, the other two zones were completely empty with nothing but a couple of Hyenas on the border.

These zones are Desheret Desert (with the tomb), White Desert and Great Sand Sea. I know it suggests they are deserts but still no content in some of them except a 20 minute ride is kind of disappointing.

Did I do something wrong?

But it's probably also why the game could be advertised as huge....

I've heard people guess that they might have something to do with DLC later

Nope, they're deserts, just like they're supposed to be.

What about IM-KHENT NOME, theres one military camp and a treasure + a small town, im just saying where is the content? Im just trying to fill in the little random gaps between to do the few zones together in the middle/upper part of the map that are left. But It appears that I probably only have a couple dozen quests left max and realistically I just did 85% of the quests during the mainstory just to be leveled.

I counted roughly 20 zones were visited during the mainstory, with the last 1-2 zones having quests level 35-37 which I didn't complete complete until the end of the story ended, but before that every single quest in the game was done to maintain level. So realistically theres only 3 zones left if i exclude the great green sea.

My point is the game appears to have barely any content once you finish the mainstory after 30 hours. I don't count going to zones, syncing with the tower and riding to a place to kill either 0 or 2 enemies to loot a worthless treasure as content.

I would of rated this game a 8.5-9 out of 10 if it had as much content to do after the main story, but right now its like 20%

What are you talking about? I have finished the game I did the mainstory and every single quest in each zone plus a ton of side content.

Literally every extra zone is nearly empty, this is a joke. How are you going to tell me to finish teh game first, there is nothing left to do.

I found a purpose for the white desert, on my 15 minutes ride I got the raining bugs hallucination :P

But seriously, yeah, a few zones are just like that: literally desert.

I mean, there are deserts in Egypt, and I think cramming a whole "desert" into another zone and having that be the only desert in the game wouldn't be an adequate depiction of a desert. They are known for being quite large and sprawling with little to no civilization/substantial development within them, especially in Saharan and northern Africa where the game finds itself

How did I skip half the game? I am down to my last two zones and have done the rest. Your opinion is starting to become of less substance every post.

The South side of the map is pretty much empty,The regions on the north side do have content.

Dont give them the idea to fill everything with pure junk again. I for myself liked some.. free space areas.. just to chill and riding through.

The deep desert regions and the Quattara Depression are pretty much empty. Like in RL: There is nothing and no one is forced to venture there. I like those areas, because it makes the gameworld just "real". You *can* find some minor stuff even in the deepest desert.

The fertile, populated areas are numerous and full of quests and POIs, so there's enough stuff to get you going for 100 hours and more...

Some ppl obviously never get enough and rant by default. I mean...most games have single player content for 10-20 hours and thats it.

Its not specifically about the desert or expecting huge amounts of content, its just you are left with 30% of the map undiscovered by the time you finish the game is like you said theres no much to do in them and sometimes nothing, Im not the type to search a desert for hours for a check list treasure thats worth nothing.

Maybe my perspective is different to others, I shouldn't of expected this to be the best openworld/sandbox they would of made on their first attempt, but it was very good for what they did.
