i've been runnign around from the great sand sea to the desheret desert for the past hour, i've tried standing still for anothre 30mins in the midday sun, i've seen shooting stars, meteors falling from the sky, chicks who disappear, a guy with a snake as a gong, a tree on fire, a flapping fish, snakes in teh sky, people i've already killed talking to me, a guy who disappears when i get near him and then reappears but still no bugs?! wtf?!?

Finished the campign and all the DLC-s got all the achievements in 120 hours. All but one. This one. Spent the next 7.5 hours walking, standing, riding in the desert, seen hundreds of hallucinations, except for the one that's required for the achievement. Even started a new game, as somebody suggested in another topic. But still nothing. Pure frustration. An achievement should be about skills not about chance/luck.

go to the great sand sea near siwa. roam around for about half an hour aimlessly. You will keep getting different hallucinations until bugs rain.

Also, what skills? None are required to play this game

I already tried the Siwa desert trick. Nothing. And what do you mean no skills required? Many achievements are earned for defeating or killing certain enemies or doing a headshot while in air, that sort of thing. Or collecting stuff, visiting places. Something that you can only get by actively using your skills as player. But the Overheating achievement is different, because to earn it, you have to be lucky to get the relevant vision. If you aren't... well... no party.

I already witnessed raining bugs in the desert twice but the achievement does not unlock. :orange_pissed:
