(SPOILERS) how to reactivate the Ancient Mechanism?

I just want to know how to activate it again. I was just listening while in the middle of it all when suddenly my power just shut down. I can't t activate it again. It's Segment 4 btw.

If you can't activate it again the best bet would be to find a YouTube video to watch unfortunately.

You can also see a text transcription if you exit animus and check Layla's laptop.

Wtf? Saw on a YouTube video and he could activate it again.. So mine just got bugged?
I'll try to activate it again, if it doesn't work. Then I just try something out or just leave it.

I might be that you should trace back your steps just before the "power-shut down".
I found that when I crashed that when I traced back a few steps it seemed that everything I picked up I need to pick up again.

This might be the case for this crystals you need for the thing?
Because once you've activated them, I thought you could just re-activate it without the use of the crystals.
BUT I might be mistaken with that last part and you need the crystals for the second time too, which also can make that the game has trown you a few seconds into the future and "thinks" you've already activated it and had your bedtime-story from the "ones that came before" ;)

You mean go to a earlier auto save?

Where is the save file location for just Ubisoft Connect/Uplay?

No I meant that when you get trown out, the game sort of put you in the spot where you were, but without the actions you did before that like looting and sometimes even kills...

So what I meant by retracing your steps, was as I said it: go back to the start when you are logged in again and you'll probably can pick up stuff you have already done before the crash...

This is not a rule or a guarantee, but it might just be the tip that gets you going if you're lucky. It happened to me a few times.

About the save games I have no idea, but someone here can probably help you out with that :D
