Problem with sssssnakes
I bought Odyssey and Origins and enjoyed these games but can't complete them because snakes keep me from playing. Do you guys know any mods that remove them entirely?

Just kill the snakes?

Could be OP has a phobia, killing wouldn't be an option in an instance such as that.

The Snake phobia is strong dayum but probably check out nexus or ubisoft or reddit forums to see if anyone knows how to code it

The snakes are easy to kill, especially with fire attacks, but anything will kill them.
Shoot them with a bow from a distance. Go slow and don't run up on them in Snaky areas.

As someone with a HUGE fear of snakes, I know how you feel. Best thing I can recommend is to remember that, for the most part, snakes are only in tombs, so take those slow. Maybe even look around corners with photo mode and kill them from a distance with your bow whenever possible. And remember, they aren't real, always remind yourself that they are just pixels on a screen and they can't hurt you apart from giving you a scare every now and than.

Yeah, I know but it's hard to actually focus on that when you're so immersed in the game especially when the graphic is so realistic.
It's funny that I can play the Snake game from old Nokia with pleasure. :D

I'd hope you could play the snake game on Nokia, considering the snake is literally just a bunch of blocks. It's funny, for me I can literally watch TV shows with snakes and I'm fine, but playing a game with them scares me. I guess it's because if it's on TV I'm just watching it happen but in game I'm actually "there" if that makes sense.

Yeah it is probably due to our sensitive nature. lol
I am gonna try to play some cool music in the background and just rush the snakes and let you know how it went.

It's funny I don't mind snakes at all, I live in the country and pick them up all the time, but Spiders I cant bare them, I don't even like them in games.

I once found a Big wolf spider in our bedroom, probably rode in on one of our dogs.

I jumped on the bed and called my wife, she put a clear bowl over it and slid a piece of thing card board under it.

We put is back outside, but I could never use that hand made bowl again.

Hello!

I understand it must be very difficult to deal with the snakes in-game if you have a fear of them, and of course they always tend to take players by surprise.

Soothing music is a great idea :) as "epic game 200" suggested it's always best to bring a torch when venturing in pyramids and caves. You'll be able to see the snakes a lot easier and fire works against them very well.

I hope you're managing to enjoy the game :)

I love it. I also have the Odyssey and it's a beautiful game too, can't complain. My only concern are snakes but I am trying to enjoy Assssassins Creed series nonethless.
Thank you for replying and for being a part of Ubisoft. You guys make wonderful games! <3

My aunt is the same way. She has to call any store beforehand and ask if they have fake snakes because she's that deathly afraid of them. I think it comes from our ancestors, telling us hey this is dangerous. I'm afraid of large cats, don't know why. I have 3 indoor cats and I have a "cat sanctuary" at my home where we catch, de-sex and release them, I love cats but I can't even go near a large cat at a zoo and I think this spawns from our ancestors passing down the "danger" gene.

I would just use a torch and when/if you hear hissing, turn around and walk out. I know you're missing content but also know that these things cannot hurt you in a game. Use your bow to keep a distance and show those hissing nasties who's boss. Hope it works out for you because they really did a wonderful job with the hidden tombs.
