Why is this game still full price
I've been playing AC odyssey and really enjoying it, and since it being the first AC game i've played since black flag I thought i'd have a go at the new ones. But what I don't understand is why on earth this game still full price 3 years after release, many AAA game don't even stay full after 6 months. Don't suppose anyone knows whats going through the heads of the big wigs at ubisoft apart form squeezing your wallet dry.

Put it on your wishlist, it has been as low as $11 for the base game several times in the past few months. It's best to get it for ~$20 for everything.

Not asking for a buying guide, obviously the best time to buy the game is on sale. But that doesn't justify 3 years old game is being sold for full price.

Because Ubisoft knows this price is justified. And I think same.

You think charging full price for a 3 year old game is justified because its a good game? Thats some EA ♥♥♥♥ right there.

Marketing 101 - If it continues to sell at full price keep it at full price... simple. So many games on Steam no matter how long ago they released at still at full release price.

I can out full price game you. Skyrim has been around from around 2011 and was up graded to Skyrim SE, 64-bit in 2016. Same game just slightly upgraded visuals with God Rays and to this day it is still full price.

The developers got pay for those "free" patches somehow.

I had a friend who owned an upscale restaurant.

He always said, you charge as much as you can and still keep the seats full. He was very good at doing that, I never went there that it wasn't packed, because he had Great food.

It's the same with games.

Ok you officially out full priced me as Skyrim has gone down to $39.99 US dollars. Darn I thought I had won. In my defense it was full priced for a very long time.
