I surely learned for the next Origins clone (odissey)
I have played all the AC expect Origins due to lack of SLI support.
Now that I don't played all the games, why continue to follow the saga?
Bye bye
Haven't seen anything yet. My purchasing it will hinge upon it though. Will just have to be patient and wait for them to announce more information. Hopefully, like FC5 it will have SLI support at launch.
And what , should miss good game cause don't have SLI ?
Serve your self ! but don't tell people what games should they play !!
lol, who said anything about "missing" it?
1. Disable SLI at the system level, even if it's disabled on the game's profile... the game tries to use it which severely screws the performance.
2. Make sure the card for PhysX is the same card that's rendering the game (GPU #1).
DO NOT dedicate the second card to PhysX.
DO NOT use the second card or the CPU for PhysX.
Both of these will either cause massive performance hits, FPS drops, or stuttering.
If you've done both of the above and still have 5-7 FPS make sure to disable these overlays (in this order, depending on what you have installed):
1. RivaTuner Statistics Server (makes FPS go down to 5-7)
2. Discord overlay (may crash the game on certain hardware)
3. Twitch overlay (same as Discord)
4. UPlay overlay (stupid I know... but it crashes or causes performance hits in some of Ubisoft's own games...)
5. Steam overlay (if disabling all of the above doesn't work)
If you still need a boost in performance, set process priority to High in the task manager.
In game, I enabled Adaptive AA 60 FPS and limited FPS to 60, I'm able to play in any area of the game with a stable 60 FPS at Ultra 1440p.
EDIT: All of this still applies to Odyssey, which is even more retarded. Fix your ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft...
