A "bug" in the Shifty Scribe side mission

Or at least it's a repeatable issue. If you drop Aristo (accidentally, I swear) into the water near the boat, I couldn't find a way to get him out and continue the quest. I had to Exit to the Main Menu and then relaunch the game, then it took me back to the point where I could pick him up again and bring him to the ship and continue the quest.

The camel is very difficult to control in tight places, and when I brought the scribe on the back of my camel to the ship, the camel attempted to turn around and walked right off into the water beside the boat. This is where I became unable to continue when Aristo was floating in the water and I couldn't get the prompt to show up to grab him.

What does that do?

I haven't come across another "carry me" mission, so I have no idea.. Does anybody else know what moving to a different location and then getting on my mount will do?

Thanks for reporting this to us. I believe he is referring to the fact that if you fast travel far enough away from the target you need to carry, he will spawn back onto land without needing to relaunch the game.
