What to do with extra silica and crystal carbon?

Will Ubisoft ever address the issue that you may have extra silica and crystal carbon in your inventory? I would love to be able to sell the extras I have as I already have the suit, and upgraded everything.

you're pretty much stuck with it. I got impatient and bought all mine from the merchant so i could level up my gear faster. I guess they wanted to make it so you didn't accidently sell it since they cost a lot.

You'd think they'd would have something that checks to see if you have all your gear upgraded first and if you do then go ahead and sell the extras.
