Npc are not loading

Hi,

It seems that i have a new issue with the latest patch 1.1.0, the NPC (all of them) arent loading properly, they are on minimum texture like if they were far aways and dont have a face.

Same thing for any mount i summon, they just teleport to me and are just of 1 texture...

Anyone else got the same issue or an idea on how to fix this ?

The problem is it seems that all the the textures takes FOREVER to load, all the npc are just like the guy on the horse but if i wait 2 min they load properly, if i keep going further the problem is the same.

I had no problem before the patch 1.10 and i had 27 hours already in the game :/

same problem, but NPC textures is slightly better for me after new patch.
i5 6500 and gtx 1060 gb. Maybe not so great rig but otherwise game is running great.

I had the same bug after I switched from a HDD to an NVMe drive.
after setting the ACOrigins procces from task manager to ~high priority~ it works like a charm.

dude you probably won't ever check this thread again, but setting high priority in task manager worked like a champ. I love people that post fixes they find, make the world a better place :) like the delayed loading of npcs was driving me insane to the point where it was really messing with my enjoyment of the game.

I have this everywhere I go in the map, It's so annoying because I want to be immersed but get instantly pulled out when AI have no texture and go right through me

Verify game files? Uplay has the same feature as Steam does.

EbonHawk makes a great suggestion! If the other workarounds in this thread don't work, you could try verifying your game files to see if this helps to resolve the issue.
