Is there a way to completely reset a quest?

I've gotten stuck on the Shadows of the Scarab in the hand to hand combat. My level is 42 and the person I'm fighting is 44. Is there a way to completely reset this or am I stuck until I eventually get lucky enough to defeat them?

i'm pissed off with the checkpoint system. it always reloads the latest checkpoint. i dont think we can restart an entire sequence.

Someone posted awhile back that you could break out of those. Either exiting to the Title menu and reloading the save, or holding down R to reset objectives... Grr, can't remember specifically. And I can't test it, I am done for the night.. :-(

Got it. You go back to the quest menu, place the cursor over the quest and hold A to abort. Of course I'm using a controller so it's the A on it. Not sure what the actual keyboard command is.

The A button just tracks or untracks the quest, it doesn't reload anything? Has there been a patch that removes this feature or something?
