DLC tie-in to base game

Hi,

I own the gold edition of this game and am eager to play but as the release of the 2nd DLC isn't that far away, (march) should I start playing now or wait until the release?

As I probably will play through this game only once, I'd rather do this when its main story is finished.
So how do the DLCs tie in to the base game?

Hey,

The first DLC is set 10 years after the main story and carries on from this. This is scheduled to be released at the end of January.

The second DLC is more of a 'what if' scenario and has fantasy elements due to a glitch in the animus so shouldn't be too integral to the main game story.

I think it's 4, the characters didn't looked to have aged much... if any

It's 10 years after the beginning of the main story arc and 4-5 years after the end of the main story arc.

Khemu dies in 49 BCE, the main quest spans 48-43 BCE, and the Hidden Ones opens in 38 BCE.
