Plus, there were at least 10 "diamonds" I could not loot... i.e. stuck or blocked jars. Would have been nice to see these fixed this late in the game's cycle. And I really am late to the party.
What I really like about the game is that everything you loot, excepting the ammo/arrow racks and the blue "messages", actually stay tracked, i.e. looted... thus any loot I still find after completing the game, is something I missed. Thus why the Pharos has been cleaned up this much in my game.
According to Sostratus of Cnidus, the architect of the Pharos, we should regularly inspect the light-colored stones that are reinforced with molten lead. This is what protect the walls from crashing ocean waves.
This was found just under the inaccessible floor.
No luck finding any of these stones.
There is a very old thread on reddit as well, but they could not figure it out either.
I suspect that this part of the Pharos used to be part of some quest and thus accessible, but that then got cut, so the in-between areas were realised but simply not used in the end. Or the dev designer(s) did it to troll us :-P
