do you play on a SSD or HDD?
JoeFloyd420 Jul 27, 2018 @ 10:37pm
HDD but i play other games that are open world and have intense graphics and i dont get stutter. it also seems like if i play for a long time the stutter almost goes away, its gotta be either win 10 or just an optimization issue. Could possibly be that my drive is close to full but like i said, i dont have that problem with other games. i did with another game but i found a fix, had to turn off some cores.

I mostly tolerate it cuz this game is killer and looks totally gorgy!

I am getting the same issues with an i75820k 2 x 1080s and 64gig ram. My resolution is 3440 x 1440 ... My frame rate jumps from 28 to 70 fps up and down up and down. It's so annoying. Whether it's low ro ultra it's the same.... I also have Windows 10...I doubt that's the issue though. Syndicate runs buttery smooth at 100fps on ultra..I don't get what the issue is...
And I have a strong inputlag concerning my mouse in this game.. vsync is of, its a shame

which other open world games are you refering to?

from personal experience GR:Wildlands and AC:O are the only open world games I get stutter issues when running of a HDD. booth games I run on ultra.
if its possible I would at least recommend to test it with a SSD to eliminate that possibility :)

Ive played ghost recon wildlands on this pc with no stutter, ide still get fps drops here and there but no annoying stutter or hitching. My ssd is only 120gb and its for my os, its only got 49 gigs.Thank you for the suggestions all.

I"m having same problem such as frame drops and crashes. When I set my resolution to 1920 and graphic to "high", the grame crashes and doesn't adjust what I chose. I re-set up the game but the same thing happens again. I don't know what to do. :(

Try this for nvidia gpus. In NV Control panel, VSync to adaptive, Pre-rendered frames to 1 or 2 max, FXAA off. Everything else, application controlled or auto.

In game VSync - OFF, FPS Limiter - OFF and I think it's called dynamic resolution to OFF or fixed at 100%. AA to medium. Other in game settings you can experiement with but try medium to start with.

Hope it helps.

Enable xmp in bios. Its to run your ram speed at advertised speeds
