They suggested to do the following
1. Press the Windows key and R at the same time.
2. In the search bar, type Control Panel and hit Enter.
3. On the window that pops up, click Uninstall a program.
4. Scroll through the list and take note of the entries that begin with Microsoft Visual C++. There may be few, but be diligent!
5. Once you've got a list, you can uninstall the programs one by one by right-clicking the entry and selecting Uninstall.
6. Now that we've got a clean slate to work with, we can reinstall those files. Click on each applicable link below to download and reinstall the files you've just taken note of.
Note: Once you press Download on some of these links, you'll be prompted to select individual files to download. If you're running a 32-bit system, you'll only need to run the x86 file. If you're running a 64-bit system, you'll need to download and run both the x86 and x64 files. Lastly, you won't need to download any vcredist_arm files you see.

So let me get this straight. I have 120 other games on Steam and on other platforms that have no issues. Since Origin began crashing 3 months ago, I have played over 200 hours across these other games. 0, yes 0, have crashed. Origins is the only game having issues. But, Ubisoft is still going with the "it's ur PC" response.
I think you talked to a Support bot, not person.
1) In the past reinstalling old backround programs has worked for me, like with some of the older divinity games.
2) this response that I got from Tech support was much more detailed than previous responses I had gotten from them.
Even in 2018 files do get corrupted once in a great while.
There's a chance that one of the components that AC is referencing in one of these (maybe corrupt) libraries, no other game that you own needs to touch.
Sounds pretty far fetched, i know but what's the harm in refreshing some of these C++ distros?
Nothing has worked for you, and you've tried everything, so yeah, I guess moanin' at Ubisoft (from a forum they don't own) is the way to go.
So.. keep on keepin'-on witcha bad self and maybe take up a different hobby. PCs ain't for the faint of heart. If one thing doesn't work for ya, move on to the next, my Marine dad always told my brother and me. He also said ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' and moanin' were for girls, and I ain't raisin' no girls. (I apologize to any girls reading this, my dad was actually a really nice guy. He just had some issues when he discharged from the Service and came back from 'Nam to raise two unruly brats.)
I think you should raise the flag on this one. It's done. :-D
And no its probably not his software/hardware it's probably the second layer of DRM that ubishat sneaked into one of the previous patches on top of denuvo since it was cracked.
Because the same thing happened to me I played for 40 hours at max settings and everything worked fine not one crash and it ran smooth as silk. then after the latest patch I cant play for more than 10 minutes without it bluescreening my computer and even then while playing I dropped the settings to normal and it's hitching around like crazy even tho I should be able to run 2 sessions of Asscreed origins at max settings at the same time easily.
And I have 1000+ games on my pc and not one of them even crashes my comp let alone bluescreen it allso just google about it and you'l get 100s of posts over different forums about its just all of a sudden started crashing peoples PC's and shutting down the game.
If you use a bit of common sense and think about it it's quite logical to assume that its prity impossible for 100s of peoples PC's to all of a sudden get the exact same error while running the exact same game after the exact same patch at the exact same time and for it to only happen when they run only this game.
So my guess is it has something to do with the multilayer DRM ubi have implemented and while I'm not a denuvo hater like some people since it has never affected me before it's starting to make me think it has something to do with these crashes since no other game has other layers of DRM on top of denuvo which is making me think thats whats causing the crash.
This late in the process, it's rarely the code that's the problem. It's almost always some missing support file, driver issue, conflict with another program, antivirus, or whatever random stuff you'd like to insert here. And since Ubi is definitely done updating this game, I don't see any fix coming from the host side.. this is going to have to be client-side only. But since he's tried everything, then we're at a stalemate, and all we can do at this point is bicker amongst ourselves.
I see situations like this as solvable problems, while others want to lash out in petulant outbursts at every offer of help. Isn't this hobby fun? :-)
