KEYBOARD DOESN'T WORK

I launched AC Origins after some time and as I see, I can't play with keyboard ( Xbox controller works fine). I woul'd like to play keyboard + mouse like before so if you coul'd help me how to fix it I woul'd be very thankful.

Is the controller plugged into the PC when you try that? If so, then pull it out.

No It's not pluged in.

Yes of course. It's darkened when I have only keyboard conected and If I plug gamepad It is turned to auto-switch

Unplug keyboard and plug in, unplug mouse plug in again. Log out of your windows and log back in. It worked for me after this.
Check the controls that keyboard and mouse is selected as well.

I can play the game exactly once with the keyboard after I reboot, and then if I try and boot the game up a second time it stops working again

Plug keyboard into a different rear USB slot? when game in menu stage. then exit AC Origins
Have a look at Steam settings> Very top left > open settings open Controller>General controller settings>all should be untick and no controller detected.
Is this on PC or laptop?
I had no problems , I just removed my Steam Controller then shutdown Steam or rebooted to insure all settings were removed from Steam.
No big picture enabled.

There's a topic here in Russian where someone suggests disabling Discord overlay for this game -- it worked for me. Go to Discord settings in the bottom left and then Games, and then click the monitor next to AC:Origins.

I saw that one in english recently. Thanks for reposting and explaining it as I wondered what Discord was. Here it is.

Same here with discord. Yesterday it started working, and I didn't know why but it worked so I didn't mind. Now I wanted to play again and same problem ocured. I wanted to throw my PC out of the window but I quit discord before that and as it seems it worked. So problem solved - it's discord. Thank's guys
