Crashing after starting the new game
So, when I start the game, everything loads, I can enter the main menu, start the new game, but when the game is trying to start it crashes with absolutely no crash report.
I deactivated the FXAA, I have the latest drivers, I updated Windows 10, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, deleted the .exe and all .dll's from the game and let Steam redownload them, I verified the integrity of the game. I just don't know what else I can do to repair it and make it work so I can play.

My leptop specs:
Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ 2,5 GHz
8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz
256 GB SSD
nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 4 GB GDDR5

So you ordered the game recently? I suggest you ask for a refund since a lot of us as you can see here:

Being the last update (55 days ago) and counting, there has been no update to fix the random crashing although what you may seem to talk about is another issue altogether.
Read through the comments, I even left there 1, let us know what you think about these crashes.

It was bought during the Steam Summer Sale. The refund option I don't think is still available, and even if it was, I don't think I would have used, the money is not an issue. The only thing I ask is a solution or an update. Is actually pretty disappointing that a developer team as Ubisoft to not be able in almost 2 months not release an update with a solution.

The sad part is, they don't even respond anymore.
After yelling at their Customer SUpport multiple times, I finally got a solution that I think has helped at least with the crashing on my computer. Disabling the Steam Overlay has so far worked.

Yes, they offered me 4 solutions, probably an automated message. Tried them all, still no change. From their email I understood that they would think the problem was solved. I didn't want to continue the talking with a bot. If they make an patch update, ok, if not, it's ok again.
@Xzio The Fey
Will try this and leave an update if it worked or not.

Later edit: still not a solution(for me at least).

Had the same issue, updated graphics card drivers and that solved it.
