Xbox One controller stopped working
Anyone else have problems recently with their Xbox one controller, just stopped working with this game. I'm still getting audio both wireless and plugged in. I played a different game and the controller worked just fine.

I went and verified I have the latest version of the controller software in Xbox Accessories, yet ACO is the only one it is not working for.

YES! I have the same issue. Nothing is working. Was working fine before the latest update.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this, it is not a known issue.

Can you try the following:

1. Go to C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Assassins Creed Origins\
2. Delete the config file named ACO.ini
3. Launch the game again

If the issue persists can you unplug all USB devices except for your mouse, keyboard and Xbox One controller then reboot your PC and follow the above steps again then relaunch the game.

Please confirm if this resolves your issue?

Ubi-Keo, I tried what you suggested and it didn't help. I can't seem to figure out what conditions cause it.

The day I posted I couldn't get it to work with ACO. The next day I tried again and it worked fine. Tonight I played a separate PC game (The Long Dark) which was Keyboard and Mouse, and tried switching to ACO.

During the switch it prompted me with the Xbox One (Hit A to continue) and when I did, a notification appeared in the top right from Uplay, saying the controller was disconnected. I was still able to use the Xbox button, and it would display the overlay from Microsoft, and I was still hearing sound through my headset, but ACO would not respond to the controls.


Any additional support would be appreciated.
