Leaving a boss battle ?

I haven't played in months, so i've forgotten the controls and gameplay.

I'm trying to play now but my last save was in the middle of a boss fight, Lucious Septimus.
I was playing on hard and i'm completely stuck, this dude ♥♥♥♥♥ me up because i barely know the controls. i cant leave the battle.... Am i stuck ?

You should be able to reload your quest objective in your menu, Cacpso. Let me know if this works for you.

I managed to decrease the difficulty in the options and took a few tries to defeat him but i managed :D
