Secret area in Karnak?
In the Curse of The Pharaohs, there appears to be a secret underground area below the Karnak temple with loot in it but there's no way to access it and it's driving me crazy. In the temple you just take the stairs that lead to the basement and and the bottom of those stairs there is a locked door. If you use animus pulse, you can clearly see that there is loot on the other side of the door. How can I get there? I tried breaking the door and searching for an alternate way in, without success.

I too was looking for this area and found this posted on reddit about it:

"I know the one you mean.

There's a portion of a side quest (A Dream of Ashes) that takes you underground through a set of passages/tunnels (which has multlple entry points), one of which branches off to a underwater section, after which is another dry section and this is where you'll find the treasure chest."

I'm guessing that area gets opened up later...?

Yeah maybe. I haven't completed much of the new quests yet. So I guess it just opens up later.

Carry on doing the main quest, you will get to enter it on one of the missions later on. :)

the door doesnt open, look up at the right side, there is a small opening that you jump right off.

not sure if the opening was there before the quest, but i noticed it during the quest as you need to go behind the door, so i believe it was there all the time.

No, the window will only be opened later on.

Yeah, I still couldn't find a way in. Guess I'll find out later, if I get a chance to play that is. :-(
