It's very difficult but certainly not impossible, I've done it. Take your time, don't rush. If you fail, think of it as practice.

I beat on the third try in Nightmare difficulty. It isn't that hard. Make sure to equip the composite bow for Sekhmet and Jackal's gaze for the minions.

My advice: Use the Composite Bow and Jackal's Gaze if you have them. Boss becomes ez mode.

As others have said above, it is definitely difficult and is intended to be so. However, if you take your time and give it a few good tries, I'm sure you'll get the rhythm down and defeat her like it was nothing!

Completed it on Nightmare difficulty quite easily with the following setup:

Meele:
- Mustapha's Blade

Ranged:
- Composite Bow
- The Fourth Plague

Tips:
- When the minions spawn, you can stealth kill 2 of them right after they finish spawning.
- When Sekhmet starts his "Beam" animation, run in one direction and the moment the beam launches, run into the opposite direction. This way, the beam will be pretty far behind you and you will easily be able to outrun it.
- If the beam caught up to you (or you think you will no longer be able to outrun it), you can actually dodge right towards the beam and thanks to the invincibility frames of the dodge, you will not receive any damage.
- The minions can be easily killed with the Composite Bow, but I recommend using the Mustafa's Blade charge attack. Since you need the arrows for the main boss.

Oh I love these tips!

I would just like to add that you can always see when the minions are about to spawn. As soon as Sekhmet stops emitting light from her chest, you know she's about to spawn them and they always materialise from dark patches in the sand. This gives you a 2-3 second window to get close to one of their spawn points ready for stealth assassination.

THEN! If you have a skill that allows you to throw an enemy's weapon to chain assassinate after an adrenaline kill, you can use that straight after, which means taking out 4 minions right off the bat leaving just one more.

Try to use pieces of equipment with the "Health on Hit" perk because they really do help.
