"Pharao's Shadow has returned to the Afterlife"

This is like the biggest ♥♥♥♥ ever, especially on higher difficulties. Got the enemy down to 10%? Well ♥♥♥♥ you, he despawns now.

Complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ design choice to have them disappear mid battle like that.

These battles are badly designed anyways, whenever I encounter these, I keep getting out of and back into battle over and over and over again and the overpower bar keeps flickering like crazy sometimes.

Are you careful to not step outside their mystic circle thingy? I've never had them return to the afterlife as long as i stayed inside that 'barrier', but if i step out they usually vanish

As Jynn has mentioned, they shouldn't be disappearing unless you stepped outside of the area. If they are disappearing while you are confidently in the area, then I will be sure to let the team know that this issue is occurring.

I will watch it more closely, then. What exactly is the area though, is it where the "glitter" effect is? The thing is, it's not like I ever ran from any of them, I just tried dodging around them, staying rather close at all times, so I should not have left the battle area really. Also, is it normal that enemy units inside the area just stand around dumbfounded?

yes, it's where the glitter effect is in a circle around them.

And yes, they tend to stand around to be killed by the pharaoh shadow

Another thing, the balancing on these pharaoh shadows and pharaohs themselves is way off.

I can do all contents on hard easily but why the ♥♥♥♥ do these have combos that you have NO chance of getting out of and that can one shot you even on NORMAL? That is complete nonse! At that point it's just cheap artificial difficulty that doesn't even align properly with the chosen difficulty setting. It's like they got desperate to make the game more challenging so they just put some cheap one shotting ♥♥♥♥ in it. That's NOT how you do it.
