sliding through holes ?!?!

just bought the game and stuck already, i can't seem to find a way how to exit the freakin mountain of the dead tomb, there is a hole i need to slide through but i keep bumping into the wall and start to climb it, it makes me wanna freakin destroy my computer

If you start to climb the wall, it means you're holding A, which you shouldn't press at all except when you want to actually climb walls.

That and if you still can't slide through, it might be necessary to crouch to actually go through because it could be a tunnel.
