Boosting to level 40?
Hey! New to the game and just got to Alexanderia. Felt overwhelmed with so much thinfs popping up on the screen. I have the gold edition and it says I can boost to level 40 straightaway.

Is it worth doing or will it ruin the gaming experience? If it's a total grind to get to level fourty I may as well just skip it right? At the same time I feel like I'll be missing out on the gameplay lol.

Will I be doing the main game missions once I boost to level fourty or will I be doing the DLC Stuff?

Edit: realised I can't even get to Alexanderia. Got teleport to the middle of nowhere. I'm currently level 6/7. Alexanderia is level 10 lol

Its not worth, base game enemies will be extremely easy - no challenge

Surely, I can turn level cap on and it'll be basically the same but with me just experiencing more zones and I can still have the challenge?

I don't quite get you. This game is about completing main and side quests to level up so that you can visit higher level areas. Why would you want to skip all of that?

There are always areas that are suited for your level, for example if you are not level 10 yet for Alexandria you may want to visit Lake Mareotis to the south. Boosting to 40 will ruin this game for you.

Well I mean.. My thought process was to put level scaling on and have all the content unlocked but at the same time I can visit different areas when I feel like it and complete all side missions for example in Alexandria too. When I want to ajd stuff like that. I will still have a challenging game just unlocked cities. (I just hate how kuch xp you get when doing quests ajd side quests and so forth. I really don't wanna go through the hassle of that tbh. As nice as it is exploring the cities and desert finding new places. I'll still do all of that when I unlock at 45 too.

Don't recall a 'boost' option in the vanilla game. Maybe it's an option in the ACP?

Its when you start a new game and you start with DLC, if I'm not mistaken

Pointless. Got to 42 lvl with half map done. Boosting is not needed and it is better just to do areas around your level. I had that option too until going over 40lvl with gold edition, but there are so many things to do that you will be overleveled in most main quests if to leave regions only after doing everything you can in them.
