Worth getting?
So, I haven't played any of the AC games since AC3, but Im kinda tempted to try this one out. Is it worth getting? Like, long story? Side missions? Will the game still be fun to play after you're done?
Also, does it support controller? (xbox 1)

The main story goes for about 30 hours, all of the quests together are about 200ish hours of gameplay. I got GOLD Edition so it adds more content, so I recommend getting gold if your going to get the game for the full experience. And yes, this game is much better than all the other AC games I've played. And yes, I am pretty sure it supports controllers for XBOX 1, you can correct me on that though.

The story along with the side missions which you have to do will roughly take 40 hours for you to complete. The side missions are really nice and then there is the two dlcs. The map is huge and contains lots of side quests so it will definitely be fun to play even after completing the main story and the dlcs. It does probably support the xbox controller but since you have waited this long then I would suggest to wait a little longer when there is a sale.

This is the best AC game, and yes, get the full version if you buy it.

Hey Sweet!

I'll leave the persuading to the community as they are doing a good job at it!

I can tell you that the game does support the Xbox One controller though. So, you won't have to worry there!

Honestly I don't have a great deal of time to game or I lose interest and don't finish a lot of them. But I'll finish this one! Its very engaging. BTW I can confirm the xbox one controller works just fine with ACO. Right now ACO is experiencing some crash issues after the 1.50 patch and Ubi is sorting it all out. Hopefully we'll see an update addressing the issue. However ACO is a very good game.

This game is an absolute must buy. It is no doubt one of the best AC games to ever come out. The game is meaty with lots of main and side activities to do. And the DLCs or should I say expansions are great as well giving whole new lands to explore similar to Witcher 3 expansion packs. As for performance, its very well optimized. I myself run this game on max graphics settings at 1080p and always get 60+ fps ( i7 4790k, GTX 1070 ). And in my 40+ hours of playing this game, I only had 1 crash so its not a big issue for me.

You said last AC game you played was 3. Let me tell you, AC games have come a long way since then and AC Origins is hands down THE best in the series in terms of size, scope, gameplay, world settings, immersion, character design and more. The main character / protagonist, Bayek has to be the best made and likeable character since Ezio from AC2. I myself have got the gold edition and it was well worth it. And yes, like everyone else said, it does support X1 controller.

Definitely. ACO is one of the best AC games in my opinion. Side missions are great, main story is awesome (but could be a bit longer), graphics are awesome and the map is HUGE. I would wait until it's on sale or buy it somewhere else cheaper.

I'm delighted to hear that you decided to go check Ancient Egypt out for yourself, Sweet. I really think you'll have a lot of fun. Be sure to stop by some time later and let me know your thoughts on the game, I'd love to hear them!
