If you are at the stage where you need to bring the relics to Ramesses tomb, the quest should indicate that it's in the real world.
However, if you're already in Heb Sed - for example, by map travel there if you'd entered that Afterlife at an earlier point - the quest pointer ingame correctly points you back to the entrance of Heb Sed, but when you look at the map, it has the diamond marker at a totally different location, somewhere partway between the Gate of Heb Sed and the Valley of Scorpions.

Me: Considering he's embedded in a wall, being dead is probably for the best.
