Where's the new quest?

I can't seem to find it!

The new introductory quest to The Curse of the Pharaohs, "Light among the Dunes", is definitely live. Try relaunching the game and checking for updates if you still cannot see it in your quest log.

It didn't show up in my quest log, but I could find it in Krokodilopolis as a red !, after which it showed up in my quest log. Look there?

Nope not showing!

I got the splash screen saying I had a new mission, but it's nowhere in the game. No red ! in Kerke where it's supposed to be, nothing in my mission list. Have restarted the game several times trying to get it to load.

Try going to the Southern Tomb in Deserhet Desert. It should trigger once you are there.

i got the splash when entering the game. but no quests in my quest log/ no quest marker on map. I even went to the that tomb near sekhmet.. sill no quest

At this point I might suggest verifying cache integrity. Maybe a file or two is missing.

And close out the game and Steam and restart your system. Don't know why, but some of these new events don't show up unless I do that for some reason.

i tried all the tips above, none worked. still can't see the quest

Do you have to own the DLC or the Season Pass, to be able to access the introductory mission? Or is it free to everyone that owns the game as a sort of advertisement for the DLC?
