Bought the DLC over UPlay while the maingame was bought on Steam. How do I install the DLC?
Hey everyone! As the title says: I have bought the DLC on UPlay because it was available earlier there. I have not gotten any Key or something like that. The DLC has been added to my UPlay Client, at least that´s what it says. Sadly I literally cannot install it over the store ingame, although the game is showing me that I do own "The Hidden Ones". Sadly the game still wants me to buy "The Hidden Ones" over Steam. Is there any option to install it otherwise or do I have to refund it somehow? It makes me so damn angry, that I am not able to play now :(

Hi there, if you bought the game on Steam, all DLC has to be purchased on Steam. Please create a ticket at http://support.ubi.com to see if you can get a refund on the DLC. Thanks!

I don't think they are compatible. Maybe someone else is better informed about this. Similar situation happened to me with Black Flag.

At least I am not alone! That´s quite a relief :P To bad that a lot of people seem to have these problems :(

if you buy the game from steam, you've to buy the DLC from steam, same with Uplay.

I agree that the developer is building a haemorrhoid!

How can we (or the support team) transfer this DLC to our Steam account?

Well, there should be a warning somehow when this is really the case. It was the first order I have placed over Uplay and I thought that it will be a piece of cake to install DLCs for games the ordinary way(like in Steam). How exactly can I refund it now? Do I have to write a support ticket to Ubisoft? :o

I have the same problem. But I bought the entire season pass. I contacted Steam and Ubisoft - No one is willing to help.

Thanks, buddy! This is really useful :) I will try my luck to refund it that way!

I honestly don't know how people keep doing this mistake. If you own the game on Steam, then the Uplay DLC won't be compatible with it. No offence, but people really should do some research before they buy stuff for a game that uses multiple platforms.
