Well this shows that you even knows your own Game... there is no Master Volume. Only Music, Effect.... but NPC Chattering goes with the Player Voice that isnt changeable.
You just can boost the Dialogue but not reduces... Who in the hell would boost this Voice Volume that allready break my ears?
Thanks for your feedback regarding the voice volume in the game.
I have forwarded this to the Assassin's Creed team.
Thanks!

Dialogue needs a volume control that goes all the way down to mute. Default dialogue volume is like 300% too loud.
I would bet they never update it... this was just a generic anwser to please the players. I never got a fix/workaround for that stupid thing.
I just finished the game with it, and reduced the general game sound in the windows sound mixer.
'll ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do it myself.
Sorry to hear it the audio levels in Assassin's Creed Origins are not balanced well enough and the background crowd voices are too loud.
The development of Origins has been completed a while ago, and there are no more plans to release any updates or make changes to the game.
However, please try different options in the Audio Dynamic Range in the game settings and see if this changes the intensity of background crowd voices.
Will not help, because the Volume for background Voices, is bound to player voice, which was bound to SFX Sound.
IIRC, there is only Music and SFX, and any Voice are combined with general SFX Sounds. Change Audio settings would not fix any of that.
Just not saying that turn sfx really quit, still the background noises overheared, feels like they are louder than any other sound, which makes this a even worser developement desicion
Disgraceful. They can plan to ♥♥♥♥ up the game for connect but not to make basic accessibility options? Give a wet fart to your bosses.
Right, and they are said Development and Support ist over, but Store is for sure active as usual. at least when I had played Origins, the Store was maintained, and that was about only a year ago?
In-game store is not related to the game development and does not require a development team to work on the game code.
Sorry to hear it you are not happy with Assassin's Creed Origin's NPS background audio level.
As mentioned before, please check different settings in the Audio Dynamic Range in the game's audio settings. There is no other way to lower this audio level.
As we cannot offer you any other troubleshooting or workaround, I will lock this thread now.
