Changing voice volume
I'm watching some videos while playing this. So I turned down music and SFX volume to very low. That worked, however, voices, moans and grunts are still original volume and much louder than anything else on my pc. This is extremely weird. How do I decrease voice volume?

Help.

Ended up just having to use the Windows integrated Audio mixer. Annoying.

Usually this would be under a Dialog option in the Sound settings. Did you try turning down the master volume itself?

I am basically playing AC Valhalla with all Sound set to zero and subtitles on, I cant handle the "ten times louder than all other sound effect" jumping noises. For some reason the devs think the grunts and moans and oohs and ahs of every little jump you do bursting out of your sound system is somehow a good thing? Most modern games absolutely stink due to their sound designers.

Well this shows that you even knows your own Game... there is no Master Volume. Only Music, Effect.... but NPC Chattering goes with the Player Voice that isnt changeable.

You just can boost the Dialogue but not reduces... Who in the hell would boost this Voice Volume that allready break my ears?

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your feedback regarding the voice volume in the game.

I have forwarded this to the Assassin's Creed team.

Can you tell them again? Because this still sucks.

Dialogue needs a volume control that goes all the way down to mute. Default dialogue volume is like 300% too loud.

I would bet they never update it... this was just a generic anwser to please the players. I never got a fix/workaround for that stupid thing.

I just finished the game with it, and reduced the general game sound in the windows sound mixer.

Yes, they already got your money, so they don't really care about, sadly...

Hello everyone,

Sorry to hear it the audio levels in Assassin's Creed Origins are not balanced well enough and the background crowd voices are too loud.

The development of Origins has been completed a while ago, and there are no more plans to release any updates or make changes to the game.

However, please try different options in the Audio Dynamic Range in the game settings and see if this changes the intensity of background crowd voices.

Will not help, because the Volume for background Voices, is bound to player voice, which was bound to SFX Sound.

IIRC, there is only Music and SFX, and any Voice are combined with general SFX Sounds. Change Audio settings would not fix any of that.

Just not saying that turn sfx really quit, still the background noises overheared, feels like they are louder than any other sound, which makes this a even worser developement desicion

Disgraceful. They can plan to ♥♥♥♥ up the game for connect but not to make basic accessibility options? Give a wet fart to your bosses.

Right, and they are said Development and Support ist over, but Store is for sure active as usual. at least when I had played Origins, the Store was maintained, and that was about only a year ago?

Hey M4D_MAXX and Kodiak

In-game store is not related to the game development and does not require a development team to work on the game code.

Sorry to hear it you are not happy with Assassin's Creed Origin's NPS background audio level.

As mentioned before, please check different settings in the Audio Dynamic Range in the game's audio settings. There is no other way to lower this audio level.

As we cannot offer you any other troubleshooting or workaround, I will lock this thread now.
