Gift of the Gods was disabled sometime but then re-enabled at December last year iirc.
For the DLCs, canonically both are set after the events from the main game, but we don't know which of them happens before the other. I'd just recommend to start with The Hidden Ones since it's short, and then move onto The Curse of the Pharaohs.
Thanks for the reply. That's a bummer, I guess I won't be able to grab that Anubis set, then. lol Regardless, I'll still try to do stuff with it. Never played that mode. I am level 8 though. I have to level up first.
Just do at least 2 of them, however, i'd do 10, since most of the time it's quite close to the reset. I do 10 when i can (5 of each God). Steam Charts showed around 1 - 1.5k peak players or something along those lines when i last checked, that's where i came up with 10 runs for a "fair contribution".
Also, make sure you're actually on to collect on the last day, since if you don't and the event restarts, you don't get anything. Happened to me twice now, otherwise i'd have had all the items already. You actually have to press "Collect" in Uplay once the target is reached, which is a stupid system, but whatever...
It has been showing me a blade to collect from what I did, but, honestly, I don't see it anywhere in the inventory or in the uplay store....maybe I lost it, I don't know, that is indeed stupid. Aside that, I will try to keep doing dailies of the Gods, I got so far Blade of the Duat and Was Scepter.
You will see a "fallen star" (sort of a meteorite with glowing blue spots) next to an underground entrance into a temple next to a ruined step pyramid. The puzzle is related to a sun clock closeby (i won't spoil it for you, but that's the jist of it pretty much).
The Sword of The Duat is the best sword in the game imo, so you're set from that point of view.
Depends. I was level 55 already when i had finished everything there was to do in Egypt, so i could've played either one, but decided to play the proper order, being Hidden Ones first (and completing it, that way i don't get all messed up and confused between "story lines"), then Curse of The Pharoahs.
