Are trials of the Gods still active?
Hello, I recently got the game. I have noticed the trial of the Gods or however it is called, are possibly still active. I played this game in the past, 2 years ago, I think, for a little bit on my PS4 and all this time I wasn't sure If I would be able to participate in these challenges for the Anubis costume and for any other rewards.

I also noticed the Gift from the Gods is still active, even though I didn't see any FFXV item related anywhere in Leylah's cave chamber the first time we take control of her. Granted, I just reached Alexandria and now it unlocked both the DLC quests, and since I can also see the events and the FFXV event still being on the map, I wanted to ask to make sure or if it's a bug.

Coming back to it after finishing completely Odyssey is making me really happy. I can't wait to play the DLCs, too. I know Hidden Ones came before the Pharaoh's DLC, but, which is the right order in storywise to play them?

Just do at least 2 of them, however, i'd do 10, since most of the time it's quite close to the reset. I do 10 when i can (5 of each God). Steam Charts showed around 1 - 1.5k peak players or something along those lines when i last checked, that's where i came up with 10 runs for a "fair contribution".

Also, make sure you're actually on to collect on the last day, since if you don't and the event restarts, you don't get anything. Happened to me twice now, otherwise i'd have had all the items already. You actually have to press "Collect" in Uplay once the target is reached, which is a stupid system, but whatever...

They're indeed still active, but doubt the community will be able to reach the weekly goal to get the golden Anubis gear, since so very few people play the game now. I think it's at 8k/ of 10k right now, and less than a day for it to restart.
Gift of the Gods was disabled sometime but then re-enabled at December last year iirc.
For the DLCs, canonically both are set after the events from the main game, but we don't know which of them happens before the other. I'd just recommend to start with The Hidden Ones since it's short, and then move onto The Curse of the Pharaohs.

Thanks for the reply. That's a bummer, I guess I won't be able to grab that Anubis set, then. lol Regardless, I'll still try to do stuff with it. Never played that mode. I am level 8 though. I have to level up first.

It has been showing me a blade to collect from what I did, but, honestly, I don't see it anywhere in the inventory or in the uplay store....maybe I lost it, I don't know, that is indeed stupid. Aside that, I will try to keep doing dailies of the Gods, I got so far Blade of the Duat and Was Scepter.

As for the FFXV items (Ultima Blade and Ziedrich shield), they are ingame rewards. You don't get them in Layla's cave, but on the Egypt map, after completing a puzzle South of the Bent Pyramid, in the Saqqara Nome region. You also don't have to "collect" these rewards, you get them after completing the puzzle.
You will see a "fallen star" (sort of a meteorite with glowing blue spots) next to an underground entrance into a temple next to a ruined step pyramid. The puzzle is related to a sun clock closeby (i won't spoil it for you, but that's the jist of it pretty much).

The Sword of The Duat is the best sword in the game imo, so you're set from that point of view.

As for the order of playing the DLCs, you may play whatever order you wish. However, Hidden Ones is the one with lower level requirements. Regions on the map actually show you the level range needed for that region.
Depends. I was level 55 already when i had finished everything there was to do in Egypt, so i could've played either one, but decided to play the proper order, being Hidden Ones first (and completing it, that way i don't get all messed up and confused between "story lines"), then Curse of The Pharoahs.

And lastly, if you collect the reward in Uplay and don't immediately see it ingame, simply go back to the main menu and reload the game. It should appear, it's just a bug. Or restart the game entirely if that doesn't work.
