go to C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Assassin's Creed Origins (or Odyssey)
open ACO.ini with notepad,
scroll to the bottom,
replace the text with
[Input]
SelectedPad=PS4 Controller
KeyboardMouseEnabled=0
AutoSwitchEnabled=0
ps: its disgusting when other pc devs being MS kissarse by enforcing xboobs as the only controller.
[Input]
SelectedPad=None
KeyboardMouseEnabled=1
AutoSwitchEnabled=1
in my "General Controller Settings", i ONLY ticked "Guide button focuses Steam". (not sure if that's necessary or not)
if its still not working, could try connecting Dualshock4 to pc via usb (that was how i found the changed text in Odyssey, copied and pasted to Origins, bluetooth DS4 works fine afterwards)
I ''fixed it'' , there's a option that lets you change your button prompts in game that seams to work. Thank's anyway.
PS: Before i bought the game i finished the pirated version with a PS4 controller and i never had any problem's like this , i just plugged the controller and it auto-detected , but with a legit copy i have this kinds of problems....THX STEAM & UBISOFT for rewarding my purchase it problems.
