What is Trials of the Gods?
Trial of the Gods is a timed community event where all players can contribute by killing gods (bosses) in order to receive special rewards.

How does it work?
Trials of the Gods is available for everyone, but not always, since it's a limited time event. There is no need to worry about missing it because it returns very often, so that all players get a chance to fight the gods. Only one boss battle is available at the time.

When can I fight other gods that I haven't fought yet?
The boss battles constantly cycle, so you need to wait to fight the next god.

What if I missed my opportunity to fight a god?
No need to worry! The gods return soon, so in meanwhile you can prepare for the boss fights!

How many gods are there?
There are 3 gods which you can always find in the same locations:

-Anubis - The Great Sand Sea
-Sobek - Herakleion Nome
-Sekhmet - The Desheret Desert

Where exactly can I find gods?
You will see a blue icon on the map in locations which you can see in the previous question, hard to miss.

How many times can I fight a god?
You can fight a god as many times as you want until the event ends. By doing this you contribute to the community event and are closer to receiving the reward.

What do I get for defeating the gods?
You get a special item by defeating each of the gods, and once you have defeated them all, you will receive a special outfit. Upon completion of the community challenge, you will receive a special item.

How to complete the community challenge?
Together, all players must defeat the god 100,000 times.

Where can I track progress of the community challenge?
Open Uplay, select Origins in your library and you should see "Club challenges". That's where you'll find all challenges for the game including the community challenge.

Can I receive the reward from the community challenge if I don't defeat a god?
No, you have to participate and defeat a god at least once in order to receive the reward.

Are there any level requirements for fighting the gods?
No, but it's impossible to defeat a god unless you're at least level 38. Once you're level 38, it's possible, but hard. I recommend to try fighting a god once you're level 40 and make sure you have the right gear.

Just watched gods of Egypt and that thought came to my mind. Be cool to see them, Seth is my favourite god!

We'll definitely see lots of mythology related stuff in the second DLC.

Oh holy crap, thanks for sharing that. I might break my own rule and actually purchase DLC for this game. It's only been a few times that I have had the urge to do that. Probably 99% of the DLC I own came with Collections, or GOTY versions. I rarely purchase them separately.

If u weren't in the previous community challenge u get a sword, if already have that u get a scepter
