Chain attack doesn't work

After the overpower attack where you can perform light attacks, I am unable to achieve these light attacks. This mechanic I believe is bugged. I have not been able to get it to work and some others in the comments haven't been able to get it to work either.

Are you speaking of the chain assassination where you can kill the second target after assassinating one from stealth?

you have to aim at another enemy within a small timeframe of the initial attack
you only get a couple of seconds to target the next foe so as soon as the first animation starts turn the camera to center on the next target and hold the mouse button

Do you mean, Attack & Push? LMB for light attack and hold LMB afterwards?

Sorry, I mean after the overpower attack, and you can perform light attacks. I am unable to achieve these light attacks.

Do you have the Ability unlocked that grants this skill?

Oh I see! With that skill, after an Overpower attack you will get a little prompt to perform chain attack (if you have that skill unlocked) but it's a very brief prompt so you need to be quick to catch it in time. It's a little LMB icon...

Yes, but when i click it, nothing happens. I have never been able to achieve the animation. When I use overcharge, i lmb to attack, then when the prompt comes up, i press lmb again but doesn't do anything.

When I enage in the light attack following an overpower attack, I kinda spam the LMB (light attack) when the prompt comes up. I do not think it is an animation as much as a series of individual attacks that are based on how many times you hit the light attack button. The only excpetion for me has been the Spear overpower attack which I believe adds an animation of you throwing the enemy and then being able to follow with some light attacks once again based on how many you can get in before the enemy "recovers" so to speak

You might have to press LMB repeatedly because it's a chain attack.

Exactly what Chow Meins said, you may have to press LMB repeatedly because it is a chain attack and not an animation prompt.

no, wasn't able to get it to work. Got three more opportunities since i last left this post.

I just got the perk and I can't get it to work either. Does it matter what type of weapon you use, or do all of them work? Reason I'm asking, is I've only tried with the DLC sword, the one from FFXV so far. Will try others later to check..

Got the perk where you kill someone with overkill, you csn throw their weapon to kill someone else. Unfortuntely this doesn’t work either. :(
