The Deluxe Pack includes: 3 ability points [EXTREMELY WORRISOME]
Is this some EA-type thing where the full game that they sell you is incomplete? They are saying to buy the Deluxe edition for an "upgraded" experience. So this basically means that the entire game was engineered to provide an excellent experience with those 3 ability points from the get-go. So, am I gonna get an amputed game with crap experience because I'll always be 3 ability points below what it was designed for?

no, you get ability points by leveling up in game, those 3 points are extra to unlock basic skills early, they are not needed at all as you level up fast and can unlock basic skills early in game.

Abook is correct. To be honest it is just something to encourage you to spend extra money on that you can earn in game in no time at all.

Over 30 hrs. in-game using a UPlay client as Green Man Gaming were (and are) selling the UPlay version for 30% off plus an additional 17% off, compared to Steam. Saved a few bucks compared to Steam.

looks like i could get an extra 25% off there as a new customer
but then there's no 2 hr refund option if tides turn sour

True. Not saying go for it but for me.....

Running on a i5-6600K, GTX 970 and 16GB at 1080p with all settings maxed out. I am getting 45+ FPS even in the cities and a lot higher elsewhere. I have found no need to try and hit the magic 60 FPS all the time.

After 30 hrs. of play I love the game and find it plays really nice on my system and better then many games.

For an open world game it is really good and the size of it is massive. Being a lover of open world games, RPGs and MMOs I am impressed.

If you have played other AC games then I find this one's gameplay is smoother and not as clunky.

The only concern is the randon crashes to desktop but having so much fun I can put up with it.

Clearly a purchase I do not regret and am willing to be patient while UbiSoft patch it. I just read these forums to get a feel for the game before diving in.

:)

If youre really worried about 3 extra ability points, simply download a cheat engine trainer online, and add 3 ability points... WeMod has a pretty good trainer for the game. (if you dont know what a trainer is, its essentially a program that lets you cheat in game, like adding ability points, making your attacks one hit, giving you infinite health etc etc) if youre not one to cheat, just add the three ability points and be on your way

Ahhh these always pop up. It's not incomplete.
